  15.      _m_k_s_e_r_i_a_l_p_r installs a printer with a serial interface for use with the
  16.      System V printer spooling system.
  17.  
  18.      _m_k_s_e_r_i_a_l_p_r is an interactive installation program that will display
  19.      available options and prompt for the relevant installation parameters.
  20.      You must be root to execute _m_k_s_e_r_i_a_l_p_r.

  22.      The program first asks for the name you wish to give the printer. This
  23.      name must be no more than fourteen characters. See lpadmin(1M) for more
  24.      information on naming printers. After entering a name for the printer,
  25.      the program asks for the port number of the serial port to which the
  26.      printer is connected. You are then asked to whether communication with
  27.      the printer will be done with software or hardware handshaking and at
  28.      what baud rate the communication will take place.

  30.      Once a name and the communications parameters have been selected for the
  31.      printer, a list of printer types is displayed. Enter the number of the
  32.      printer type you wish to install.

  34.      The printer will be installed and the current printing environment will
  35.      be displayed (i.e. lpstat -t).
